MS-5517		Classic design based on the Rolex 5517. Sword hands, 60-minute bezel, no date. The 5517 is a stand out classic; it will remain the quintessential Rolex of the period, possibly of all times. It deserves its status for the submariner case (that is timeless), its ambitious hands and its lack of adornment - no date, no Cyclops. We update it with a tough, reliable movement, scratch-resistant ceramic bezel with lumed markings, sapphire crystal, solid bracelet, and individually test the cases to a full 300m of water resistance. MS-9411		Based on the Tudor 9411 diver, the MS-9411 has snowflake hands for a very unusual and legible look. I chose the Tudor 9411, for the blue dial and the hands. The Snow Flake hands - like them or hate them - make a strong statement. Still very much a tool watch, the 9411 with the Snow Flake hands are bold where as the Mercedes variant are elegant. I looked at the compromises of the MS-5517 and the Rolex and made changes. I increased the water resistance, added a Sapphire crystal, put in Anti Reflective coating on the crystal, gave it a ceramic bezel, changed the clasp on the bracelet, removed a lot of writing on the dial and made the movement better. Many people who like "vintage" watches suggest an acrylic crystal is better, from a function perspective sapphire crystal is better. I am not making a vintage watch; I am making an OWC ISO watch. • ST-1812 is made by Sea-Gull (origin China) as part of their Premium Movement range. It is similar to the ETA 2892-A2
• A-10 is made by Soprod (origin Switzerland).
• ETA movements: Due to Swatch Corporate policy of limiting supply of its mechanical movements, OWC have made an ethical decision not to offer ETA movements.
• Bespoke models: By application and discretion of OWC. These watches may contain in the case of the Museum Edition (ME) vintage movements from many makers including ETA.
• OWC has a policy of evolution and adoption of materials and techniques as they become relevant. Hence individual watches may differ from the specification.
